RUSSELL COUNTY SCHOOLS

NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY STATEMENT

Students, their parents, employees and potential employees of the Russell County Schools are hereby notified that Russell County School System does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex/gender, disability or age in employment, career and technical education (vocational) programs, or activities set forth in compliance with the Office of Civil Rights, Title II, IV, VI, IX and/or Section 504.

 

The Russell County School System offers the following career and technical education programs for all students regardless of race, color, national origin, including those with limited English proficiency, sex or disability in grades 9-12:  Agriculture, Human Services (Family & Consumer Science), Business Education, Marketing, Engineering & Technology, and Military Science.  Also, the Lake Cumberland Area Technology Center offers the following career and technical courses to students in grades 9-12:  Automotive Technology, Construction Carpentry Technology, Electrical Technology, Health Science, Welding Technology, Computerized Manufacturing and Machining, and Industrial Maintenance Technology.  All career and technical educational programs, services, and activities are available to any student enrolled in the Russell County School System.

 

Adult Education classes are offered to individuals pursuing a GED certificates.  Adult programs are offered periodically based upon the demand for specific classes.
