Russell County School District Preschool Registration for the 2017-2018 School Year

Applications can be picked up at Russell Springs Elementary, Salem Elementary, Jamestown Elementary and the Russell County Board of Education April 17, 2017 through April 28, 2017. Applications need to be returned during this two week timeframe so screening appointments can be scheduled.

Screening

May 8^th and May 9^th, 2017

Time:  8:00-2:30

Two Locations:  Salem Elementary School and Jamestown Elementary School

• Preschool serves all 3 and 4 year olds with disabilities who qualify under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. 
• Also, preschool serves children who turn 4 by August 1^st and who meet income guidelines.
• Other students may register to attend preschool as space allows.  Of these students, Preference will be given to students who meet income guidelines, but who turn 4 years old after the August 1^st deadline.

Your child’s

• Preschool Registration Form (click here)           
• Certified Birth Certificate
• Custody Papers (if applicable)

• Social Security Card                         
• Vision Exam and Physical Exam
• Immunizations Records (up to date)
• Proof of Income - Preschool Household Income Verification Form (click here)
